Origin 7
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
ORIGIN-7 is a narrative simulation game about discovery, artificial life, and the unsettling question of whether creation always begins with observation
You are an operator at a polar research control station. During an expedition beneath the ice, your team discovers an ancient device still running after thousands — maybe millions — of years. When the device detects your network, it connects to your terminal and reveals a living simulation inside.
You do not control this civilization directly. Instead, you observe its people, provoke discoveries, guide their development, and watch how they interpret the world around them. They learn, misunderstand, build, fear, believe, age, form relationships, and create meaning from the events you trigger.
Outside the simulation, the research team uncovers fragments, plates, and clues that help translate the notes of a previous operator. Inside the device, those notes reveal a deeper mystery: who created this system, why it was abandoned, and whether your world may be part of the same experiment.
This demo focuses on the early structure of the experience: investigation interface, simulation terminal, procedural events, civilization guidance, and the first layers of the ORIGIN-7 mystery.
